Negative: Very cramped living space. We had two teens with us so it would have helped it the tv was a smart tv so we could watch our own Netflix account as we were not going out in the evenings. While location was handy the noise was terrible in the evenings There was a random suitcase with jacket and water bottle left in closet and we were left assuming someone was coming back to collect it. It left me on edge for the first night. It would have helped if there was a chain or bolt we could lock the door with from the inside. There were silver fish in the bathroom. Not a pleasant sight, but assume it must be damp or poor ventilation.

Positive: Good location , adequate space for 4 adults , shower worked well , pretty good towels, security was good .

Negative: On both nights we were all awoken (in both bedrooms) by significant noise outside both bedrooms . This appeared to come from an alleyway at the back of the apartment . This was between midnight and 4 am , seemed like revellers chatting , laughing coughing etc . We only had 4 glasses , 2 plastic champagne flutes , 1 wine glass and a tumbler , Meant sharing a bottle of wine was a little bit disappointing V limited TV channel options

Summary: The apartment served it purpose and was conveniently located . We didn't sleep well sadly

Positive: Great location right on the Royal Mile. Lovely clean, spacious and well equipped apartment. Great communication from the owner.

Negative: The spiral stairs to the apartment were very steep and narrow.
