Positive: Arrived at midnight, the boss arranged for a pick-up and even took us to have supper. The taste is great, and the boss is also very handsome. And there's also a cute dog. The inn is a beautiful small courtyard with small gardens on both the first and second floors. The room is very clean and hygienic, with a separate shower room and plenty of hot water. Unlike other wooden houses in the area, this inn has good sound insulation. The boss was also very enthusiastic in planning our itinerary, helping us recommend the online red card punching points in the Old Town of Lijiang, and explaining the city to us. A car was arranged to pick up and drop off. It was very friendly for sisters to travel. I recommend everyone to stay at this inn when coming to Lijiang.

Negative: Lights on in the courtyard kept me awake as the curtains were sheer. I turned them off but the host turned them back on despite my explanation. I heard every bodily noise from the room above me. No sound insulation.

Positive: This inn left a very good impression on me, with a delicate and beautiful courtyard, clean and comfortable rooms, a warm and friendly owner, everything was so pleasant! I didn't expect many foreign guests to stay in the inn with more than ten rooms. Besides us, there are also guests from Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, and Germany. Seven or eight people from different countries sat around the large tea table at Jinmei Inn, drinking tea, eating snacks, and chatting at the same time. It was really enjoyable! Tea, flower cakes, and fruits are all provided free of charge by the inn. The young owner of Oda is particularly hospitable, making tea for us, chatting with us, and recommending various delicious restaurants and fun routes. The project he recommended has a very good experience and high cost-effectiveness. Don't worry about language barriers, translation software or WeChat communication are still very useful, just need a little patience. By the way, this inn also offers flexible and diverse payment methods, including cash and card payments. Thank you very much, Mr. Xiaotian, for allowing me to spend a very pleasant and unforgettable short time in Lijiang.

Positive: Location is very good, a few minutes walking to ancient city where you can find a lot of cheap eateries and convenient stores. You can also walk to a local market about 15' but I lost hopelessly for an hour when I tried to use the shortcuts thru the ancient city. In the early morning and late afternoon, my room is a bit chilly (middle October) but pretty quiet and restful. This homestay would look fantastic with a bit of more care. Young owner is nice and helpful but talking English by WeChat is not my kind of communication. Unfortunately, I ran into this problem for my whole trip of Yunnan!!!!Here language barrier is huge for alphabetical people.

Negative: A regular manned office where customers get the help they need. A heater in room for cool weather.

Positive: The inn is located very well, close to the ancient city and very quiet. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the courtyard is exquisite and beautiful. The service was particularly good, and the boss Xiaopang was very enthusiastic. He accompanied us to visit the ancient city, introduced us to the history of Lijiang, the traditional culture and folk customs of the Naxi people, and took us to eat local specialty snacks. It's so kind, just like treating old friends who have been separated for a long time and reunited, it's touching!
