Positive: This home-like serene lodge equips everything you need, with sparkling clean facilities and super hospitable staffs. Foods and music at Route 17 Cafe are even beyond my expectation, I would never forget the taste of miso ginger pork!

Negative: The fridge in the shared space smell a bit moldy though

Positive: The whole lodge is clean and well-organized. The breakfast was delicious, and the bento box I ordered for dinner was also good. There is also a space to work, and the Wi-Fi is stable and fast. The ski drying room is also easy to use. The lodge owner is kind and friendly.

Negative: The room I stayed in with my children was a little small for three people. The oil heater was a little inconvenient.

Summary: Nice lodge to stay for sking.

Positive: Good for budget traveller, close to kagura Hostel style. Clean shared facilities and friendly staff

Negative: No shops no anything nearby, catering at hotel is minimal- you have to book day before and a simple bento is offered for dinner

Positive: The lodge was close to Mt. Naeba and a short drive into Yuzawa. The owner and everyone was very friendly. The public bath was perfect after a day in the slopes. We will definitely be back.

Positive: Liked food options for breakfast and an excellent bento for dinner. Very liked the atmosphere, common area, kitchen and other facilities. Room was clean and bedding was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, felt very welcomed there!

Negative: It got really cold at night really fast and the smell from the heater was quite noticeable. It wasn’t really clear how the heater works so we got up at night to turn in on after it turned off by itself.

Positive: Very clean nice little hotel. We went to Yuzawa for ski trip. The room is small like most of hotels in Japan. The facilities are old but very clean. The room has a heater which heats up nicely. Hotel has a nice public area which allowed us to cook simple meals. The stuff were super friendly. It would be a nice place for short term stay.

Summary: Nice place for short term stay. Great location walking distance to Tashiro ropeway.
