Positive: Close to many main attractions, yet on a main shopping street, so plenty of places to eat and drink after your exploration. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. They helped us organise our 4 days here and it was perfect. They helped us get entrance tickets to all the attractions at better rates and also planned routes for us on each day of our exploration in zhang jia jie national park. Couldn't have asked for more. They also upgraded us for free and gave us a free breakfast. Rooms were spacious and clean and we got given clean towels everyday. Beds were comfortable and big, much needed after a long days hike and exploration. Everything was perfect. Staying here really made it stress free in terms of planning and we could focus on just enjoying the hikes and exploring the area. We will be back!

Positive: The swimming pool was always clean, and very refreshing after walking around on a hot day. The breakfast was nice. The staff was very nice but spoke only Chinese.

Negative: The pictures of the hotel online are pretty deceiving and you notice that as soon as you walk in. There are coffee cups in your room but no coffee is provided. At breakfast, coffee is provided but there are no coffee cups. I drank my coffee from a soup bowl. The swimming pool rules are very sexist. Women must have a hair cap on to be in the pool. Men (with long hair) weren't required to wear a cap. Really? Men's hair doesn't fall out? One of the workers there kept harassing my friend because she didn't have a cap on, while long haired men were completely excused.

Positive: Great and so helpful staff! Ready every single time to help us with booking tickets to the different parks, and very honest with their reviews and opinions. The room was cozy and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The pool is a great add-on, especially after a full day of hiking and exploring.

Negative: the WiFi was weak most of the time I tried to use it. The breakfast could have been a little bit more diverse; however, I enjoyed it!
