Positive: A quite big traditional mansion of Pyrgi is all yours! A very lovely lady welcomed us in front of the door. She showed us all the facilities in the house. And they provided everything you can wish for your stay. And their offerings in the kitchen were limitless. 🫠 And choosing the accomodation in Pyrgi instead of the center was a great decision so that you can explore the villages more. Positive: if you are looking for a totally different experience this is the place for you. The host was very welcoming and the location it's good, but it was like staying in a museum. My partner really liked it, but I found it too uncomfortable. It's a bizarre place which you are either going to love or hate. In our case it was 50/50

Negative: I found it too uncomfortable. The beds were very small, and since it was hot we slept in different rooms and my bed was not straight. Too many steps, the bannisters are very wobbly and dangerous (I'm not great on steps due to an inner ear problem), the light in a room was blown, the water pressure was very weak, the carpets were frayed and bumpy

Positive: The house made our stay feel like a very authentic old world maticha village greek experience - with hosts who were very helpful. It was also an easy walk around the Pyrgi village, plus an easy drive around the area to many interesting sites, taverns and beaches

Negative: For two tall and elderly Australians, the double bed and shower was on the small side, plus the two levels of steep stairs was noticed 🤣
