Positive: Uber comfortable beds and pillows. I unexpectedly had a neck injury before my stay here and was worried about this but it really helped so much, so I want to get that out of the way first before this review. Plenty of high quality kitchen utensils were proceder and easy to find. Nick and Sheri are super kind and helpful in a way that was super surprising to my husband and i coming from a place where we thought “southern hospitality” is a thing, but they truly brought us in. Nice shower products are provided as well. The place is super quaint and cozy and perfect for the two of us. Booking on here is easy and a great value, even cheaper than most hotels that are worth staying at. Easily the best bang for the budget. Will easily and most definitely be coming back here. Their kids and dog are fun and respectful. As soon as I was first greeted by their dog Guinness I knew it was going to be a good stay. Also, my husband and I are awful at reading the fine print. We did not know it was a “shared suite” duplex until we landed and started driving to the place. We got nervous about it but as soon as we parked and Shari came out to greet us and tell us about the place, we knew we were in good hands. We still had our own separate place, and although the walls are thin, we slept and enjoyed our time in quiet peace. 10 out of 10!!!

Negative: The shower is somewhat small but easily usable. There was a short issue with the water being shut off due to septic problems, but we happened to be heading out as soon as that happened so we weren’t affected by it. It is located and accessed by a small, one way, dirt road so I do not recommend it for low laying cars, but our Nissan Altima did fine on it. There is a rooster and chickens near the property. I don’t mind at all, but my husband woke me up asking what in the world that sound was in the morning- this man has never heard a rooster in his life and it kept him up. But what can you do, it is semi-rural Idaho and people have animals do it happens! If you’re not used for farm animals or other louder noises you could be woken by them.

Summary: Quaint, cosy, and friendly. Perfect guest suite.

Positive: The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Kerig machine and pods was a nice touch.

Negative: The outside of the duplex was kind of messy. Weedy. The only heat seemed to be a small electric fireplace, I think the controls might have been on the other side of the wall where the owners live.
