Positive: House is very large with a great kitchen and large fridge. Bedroom is also roomy with a cold ac. Place even has a washing machine and a clothes drying area that had clothes dry by the morning. The owner is a great bloke and very knowledgeable who also does tours with excellent english. Place is a bargain at the price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING.

Positive: nice and quite place, close to the center, the owner is so helpful and easy to reach and provided us a tuktuk with the driver who's very nice too. We had a great time with the owner who is also a guide who took us to the boat safari and authentic sri lankan dinner. It was a great experience.

Positive: We had a pleasant stay at Windy Villa. The host was very kind and helpful, and the house itself is really spacious — much bigger than we expected. We especially appreciated having access to a washing machine, which was super convenient during our trip. The location is beautiful, surrounded by rice fields, and very peaceful. However, it’s a bit outside the city, so for solo female travelers, the remote location might feel a little unsettling, especially after dark. Overall, a nice place to stay if you’re looking for some quiet and don’t mind being a bit away from town.

Positive: The host knows perfectly how to behave amongst his guests, everything is a private tour with him. We took the cooking class, the boat tour and the ancient city tour. All have been wonderful. His personality makes the whole visit an amazing experience for all sorts of visitors. The ancient city tour is very well done, very informative and super chill to do. He knows all about the place, is a guide for you too and all with the most friendly smile. He’ll make your experience unique and can even help you to find the right food around town. The villa has a spacious set up, including a washing machine (with detergent even).

Positive: Everything. The owner made our stay very pleasant, her organise a motorbike and was open and present for all questions we had. We enjoyed the peacefull surrounding, the bird and the nice green ricepaddyfields.....a pearl.
