Positive: The stay in was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean. The home is located just next to the ancient site, it wii tak you 5 nins to get there on your way back home. The owner of the place helped me a lot during stay, always friendly and smiling. I would definitely recommend this place for the travellers, you will feel at home.

Positive: Best place to stay in Polonnaruwa according to me. The house is in the nature and very close to the temples. We had great discussions about the country and got to learn more about Sri Lankan. Our host made us an amazing rice and curry and we went on a night walk to see wild animals. We have been able to rent great bikes to visite the temples. I really recommend!

Positive: The owner is very helpful and came to collect me with his tuk tuk for free. The place is very quite in the middle of nature, just 300m away from the Gal Vihara with its energetic presence. The owner offered me an half hour night walk which we couldn't do bc of the rain. Bicycles can be rent on place and I loved to cycle downtown along this beautiful road along the river. Room is big, high ceiling with fresh air. Not hot, very clean also the bathroom. Furniture is in good condition. Warm water works, mosquito net ok. WiFi broke when I was there because of the thunder, but the owner went to buy me recharge cards for my mobile data. Nice garden.

Negative: Room has not much possibilities to put clothes which was OK for my short stay. Dinner was a huge portion but quite simple. I didn't really like the local spices.

Positive: Amazing host, very knowledgeable and communicative. Able to rent bikes, which are ideal to explore local ruins spread across fairly large area, and drop you by the bus. Nice, modern building in pleasant environment, with awesome shaded patio and lush green garden. Ample breakfast. Great value!

Positive: It is in an excellent position right outside the exit to the historic city, the host Upali will rent you bikes and you can cycle along the canal to the entrance of the city and then ride around before returning home, The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is delicious, Upali also took us on a night walk where we saw deer, fireflies, land crabs and a strange scorpion. When we left Upali took us free of charge to the town centre main bus station to make sure we got on our bus back to Kandy and by getting on at the bus station you are pretty much guaranteed a seat for your 4 hour journey. Would stay there again, highly recommended
