Positive: Great little piece of beachfront. We had the beachfront bungalow and that was very nice. Spacious and comfortable. Nice swimming beach. Jenny the hostess was not on site, but very responsive to any request. Felt like a retro beach resort. Great bamboo hut restaurant. We enjoyed it for what it was. Would come back. We hired the scooter for $10us per day and it was a great place to spend exploring.

Negative: The place felt a little abandoned. At one point we were the only guests there. Breakfast menu was not inspiring. Meals were okay, but had to be ordered 4 hours in advance. We found the restaurant at the resort next door much better. There was quite a lot of beach rubbish when we arrived, which did improve over the days that we were there. There was no drinks menu other than pepsi and beer. Its a great place that cold benefit from a little more service and upkeep.

Summary: Great for lazy beach days on a sunbed. But not much else on offer. Food options could be better.

Positive: Very friendly staff, especially Jenny. Kudos to her she speaks very well English. Not for granted in VN. But honestly she is the only one in hotel who does.

Negative: Kinda of far out and very rustic roads. I am absolutely fine with but be prepared for it.

Positive: Amazing view to the ocean. Jenny and her family were lovely hosts. We loved the isolation and calmness of the place. Really nice that we could rent a scooter on the spot.

Negative: Maybe a bit rough ride on the unpaved road to the nearest street. Bathroom needs a bit of a touch up. The bed was very squeaky. But these were very minor things, that did not influence the quality of the stay.

Summary: If you need a rest from the city, Wild Beach is the way to go

Positive: The staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The room was spacious and clean - looks just like in the pictures online. They provided fresh towels and a bottle of water every day.

Negative: Unfortunately the chef was sick when we arrived, so there was no lunch and dinner. For a location this far off, that was quite inconvenient. The room has no fridge, so we had to put our stuff in a common fridge, where things can get mixed up. The location is very far away from everything. We wanted to rent a motor bike, but the only offer they had was for 200k per day, which is absolutely unreasonable for Vietnam. Next door, we rented a motorbike for 100k per day. The beach was very underwhelming and in the time we were there (mid March) it seemed to be the windiest beach on the island. The entire "resort" seemed to need a bit of a renovation. Everything looks kind of like in the pictures just old. The rain-shower in our bathroom wasn't working, there were some tiles missing in the bathroom. It was a bit dusty here and there. The outdoor furniture was a bit run down. The bar was not staffed in the evenings, so it wasn't possible to order any drinks.

Positive: Amazing resort with a great potential. Jenni is very kind and helpful in any situation. Ideal for those who are looking for relax rather than exploring the island as the road to the resort was quite bumpy and there are not many shops or “touristy stuff” around.

Negative: The bathroom was not really clean - it was visible that not many gusts come.
