Positive: Fantastic location, very nice staff. Had a bit of language issues, but managed well overall. When we wanted to change room, that was not a problem, and the staff was very fruendly and helpful with absolutely everything. All in all, a very pleasant stay, and again; the staff and location were the best!

Negative: Too many dogs around the restaurant and pool for our taste, but thats goes for a lot of places, not only this resort.

Summary: Fantastic location, very nice staff!

Positive: The beach is fantastic and pristine.The staff is kind and friendly. The water is clean. They have free kayaks for us to use. Lots of tourists esp Europeans. We thought we were in a foreign country not Viet Nam

Negative: The road getting from the main road to resort was really bad.

Summary: We had a good value of money for this price in this Tết vacation whereas they have to serve with good attitude

Positive: We really liked hearing the waves all night long. Staying in one of their bungalows with a terrace was very enjoyable.

Negative: It was a little remote and the staff is nice but speaks very limited english.

Positive: The location on a quiet beach, in a quiet part of the island was fantastic! Beautiful days spent lying on sun lounges in the shade or sun. Rock pools and empty beaches. The property organised an airport pick up and put an extra small bed in our room to accommodate our family.

Negative: BUT, not being near any other restaurants or food shops made it very difficult to buy different or additional food, and this was DEFINITELY needed. The food was the main reason we left, it was not good at all. The breakfasts were not eaten, everything was undercooked. All food was very overpriced. Also, many items listed as being in the rooms were not there (walk in robe, drying space, kettle, etc). The air con controller didn't work, so we were cold each night, or had to turn all power off to turn it off. The sea view was actually mostly the view of a breaking down pagoda in between us and the beach. Facilities (bathroom, sliding doors into rooms, etc) were not built well and not maintained, so the kids couldn't close the doors alone, and they were difficult for us to close - every time. A couple of things that are not working or value for money we can put up with, but there were just too many things. Plastic was burnt with the rubbish pile filling our room with a terrible smell. They were lovely people and we wanted to support them, but eventually moved to a place that cost the same and was so much better in comfort, cleanliness, breakfasts, facilities. We are glad we stayed for a couple of nights at Vung Bau, but would recommend this place only if you go prepared, with plenty of food and your own transport to go to other places to eat, and can be satisfied with low quality facilities for a great location.

Positive: Beautiful location, very friendly and accommodating staff, amazing food with many vegan and vegetarian options! A whole vegan menu! Which was extremely delicious. For two families staying for a week who are all vegetarians and vegans, this was really great. It was a very fun and comfy stay. The kids enjoyed the pool table, the kayaks, the lovely beach and the snorkelling trips that the resort organised for us. A highly recommended place ;)

Negative: Nothing. It was a charming and ideal place for us.
