Positive: Property quiet, with good facilities - 2 restaurants and pool.

Negative: The property shows the lovely covered deck, but exaggerates the view which is mostly the cottage next door. Trimming some shrubbery or trees would greatly expand the view. No sun ever hits the deck.

Summary: Stay very comfortable, but deck view and shade a big disappointment.

Positive: Lovely stay, lovely lodge with everything you need. Good WiFi . Received instructions from owner before arrived so felt prepared and their telephone number if needed anything. Didn’t use on site facilities.

Negative: Bathroom was dark and had a damp dog smell.

Summary: Relaxing lodge break.

Positive: Location was good. The heating in the lodge was quick to come on. The water was nice and hot, beds were comfortable.

Negative: The key safe code was wrong, one showing on booking.com was an old one, when we arrived, we couldn't gain access. The furniture was tired and uncomfortable (settees), the dining table had a broken leg. The coffee table in the lounge had loose parts ( drawer knobs came off in your hand).The bathroom had a distinct damp odour, made moreover when the heating was on. There were cobwebs here and there and a dirty knife was left under the dining table.
