Positive: The house was in an exceptional location in Crystal River. We got to see dolphins and alligators right in the canal almost daily. The dock and pool were great to sit out and watch the sunsets and relax from the long days on the water. The owners were very accommodating and responded to any questions we had very fast. We will definitely be returning with our family next summer to, hopefully, stay longer.

Positive: It was very clean and cozy. The location was absolutely beautiful on a quiet road in a quiet community but not far from town. The house was perfect for our party of 6. The dock was fantastic. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!!! We will definitely stay here again!!!

Negative: I don’t have an answer for this. Everything was perfect!

Positive: Everything! The location is excellent and convenient to all the things we wanted to do - fishing, boating, visiting the springs, shopping, restaurants, beaches, etc. The home is very clean and includes literally everything - dishes, bedding, laundry facilities, kayaks, crab traps, and the list goes on. The pool was wonderful to help entertain the kids when the adults were having down time. The dock behind the house was perfect and we were surprised to see dolphins right behind the house! The owners are amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay!

Negative: There was truly not one thing we didn't enjoy about our stay.

Summary: We travel often and this was one of the best experiences we've ever had! We will return!

Positive: My family, and I absolutely loved this location from the first moment we walked in. The place was beautiful, accommodating, and in the most perfectly private area one could hope for. We couldn't have felt more safe. The house is nestled back in a quiet neighborhood with only one road access. Check in with super easy with my own custom entry code. Upon walking in the front door you can see through to the back pool and down on the beautiful channel . The pool was absolutely perfect for the whole family, and even had a screened in outdoor cooking area that we took plenty of advantage of. The covered dock and boat lift on the water was stunning, and made for the best place to either catch some sun, lay in the shade, or even fish the day away. We did not bring our own boat, but the boatlift made me wish we had! The inside of the house was spotless, well designed, and most importantly, comfortable for everyone in our family of 5. If the beautiful house on the gorgeous property wasn't enough then get ready for the hosts! Dan and Linda were not only helpful from the very beginning of the process, but remained being TOP NOTCH hosts through the entire stay. Because of their introduction to Crystal River my family and I have found a new favorite vacation spot, and my wife and I know where we want to settle down someday. Dan and Linda started the trip as our hosts, and ended it as family. From this location you are just 10 minutes away from being able to slip your kayak into the springs and experience Florida's nature at its absolutely most incredible. The food in the area is great, the people in the area are extremely welcoming, but the nature is like nothing we've ever experienced. After spending a week at Dan and Linda's we really felt like we were locals.

Negative: It's hard to give such a raving review, and at the same time, still try to realistically find some cons along such a long list of pros. I would say the only thing that keeps coming to my mind has nothing to do with the property, and just has to do with the area. Use bug spray! Noseeums are abundant in the whole area (the entire coast), so much so one outside restaurant we went to had it on the tables. That being said, Dan and Linda had bug spray available, and a beautifully screened in patio with a heated pool, outdoor cooking surface, and a nice sitting area! Once you spray on some of the all natural bug spray that everyone seemed to have, they absolutely left you alone, and it smelled so good that my daughter did not believe me that it was bug spray.

Summary: Thanks to Dan and Linda my family and I were able to discover the magic of Crystal River, FL!
