Summary: We had a wonderful week at this cottage. It’s position and views are fantastic and location next to the Chain ferry to go into Cowes is really convenient. The cottage is ‘upside down’ with the lounge and kitchen upstairs with fantastic views of the river and boats - made it quirky for us going downstairs to bed. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I have stayed in with lots of crockery and cutlery etc and not just 4 or 6 of everything. Communication with the host Jean was always very efficient and fast and there was also an information guide in the accommodation. There was also a lovely guy who lived in another cottage that gave us lots of hints and tips of places to go and things to do as we were first timers In the Isle of Wight. If you are considering this cottage then I would not hesitate to book.

Summary: Jean was a great host so friendly and welcoming. The property was comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed our stay. The chain ferry was a little noisy at night and early morning but the bed was comfy so that helped. It was a good base to explore the magic of the Isle of Wight!

Summary: We really enjoyed our short stay in the island and at this property. It has excellent location being just right next to the Red Funnel ferry terminal. Convenient to local restaurants and takeaway and Waitrose is just a walking distance. Osborne House is also very close by and good road links by car to other places around the island. Cottage has a lovely view of the sea and is very clean and tidy and has all you need for a nice holiday. Jean is very responsive and communicates well so no problem overall. Would recommend and would love to come back. Thank you Jean!
