Positive: Of course the food! That's the main reason we chose to stay here. Their dinner is a bomb and it'd be a waste if you book the room but not the dinner. The minshuku owns an eatery too, and they specialise in tuna. Not sure if you can enjoy the same dinner in their restaurant. Tuna was cooked in all kinds of method - from raw sashimi, to vinegared, in soup, fried, and the unbelieveably huge baked tuna jaws! Tip: Starve yourself before the dinner, but even then you might not be able to finish everything. Wife host is hospitable. Husband host is a sake connoisseur so be sure to order sake for tasting! They also have citrusy body cream in the room which smelled so fragrant on the skin.

Negative: Nothing much. Public bath (separate gender) was small and not open all day. It can accommodate at most 3-4 at a time. Time your bathing time if not it can be crowded.

Positive: Great location. The train station is a couple of minutes away. It is also close to the port and shopping stripe. The rooms were quiet and we didn’t hear the train at all.
