Positive: LOVED the accommodation, its such a cute japanese home. It was a spacious accommodation. Everything was spotless clean, fully equipped kitchen for cooking (though we didnt cook). Very comfy futon beds with heating throughout to keep us warm. Great location, short walk to the train station, shops and the port. Last but not least, Maru's hospitality was exceptional! Very very helpful and responsive, made dinner reservation for us (much needed delicious dinner after kumano kodo) and even offered to bring our luggage to the train station, very grateful for the accommodation and Maru's warm welcome.

Negative: We loved everything! It's just something to be aware of or to get used to for future guests - a flight of stairs to get to upstairs bedrooms, theres a urinal as well as a western toilet in the bathroom.

Positive: You own the whole house with all the furnitures and facilities in need. Its only fifteen minutes walk from the station and there is a five minutes Lawson supermarket nearby. The owner is incredibly Friendly and helpful，providing pretty good services and guidance using whatsAPP
