Positive: Staying at Wadina Resort has been one of those experiences we will never forget in our entire lives. The location is absolutely spectacular, and even though the hotel is still under construction, the rooms are breathtaking. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The team managing the hotel on behalf of the owner is simply amazing. Irfan, the manager, together with his staff, went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. From the very first moment, when we complimented the beauty of the property, they even gave us a tour of the restaurant area still under construction—it was such a privilege to see. They took care of us throughout our entire arrival journey, and once we ventured into the mountains, they arranged for a guide to assist us and even stayed in touch remotely until we reached our next destination safely. Their dedication is truly remarkable. On top of that, they prepared a spectacular lunch served in our room, organized a delicious dinner from a local restaurant and served it by the pool, and the breakfast was simply delightful. Every detail made us feel so cared for. We are deeply grateful to Irfan and his wonderful team for making Wadina Resort even more beautiful than the nature that surrounds it. Please keep going this way—you have created something truly extraordinary!

Positive: The combination of the incredible view, the luxury of your own (nicely private) pool, the very comfortable room, and the wonderfully kind and attentive staff made this one of my favourite hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The resort is not quite finished yet but this doesn’t impact your stay in any meaningful way. Being so close to the wadi means you can get there easily with ease and have it entirely to yourself for hours (which we did on a week day, from around 8 to 11). This is a very special place. Put it on your wish list for sure!

Positive: The location is beautiful. Peaceful, calm, and with stunning views directly over Wadi Bani Khalid. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and even had a private pool with breathtaking views and very nice lighting for when it gets darker. The staff were the highlight: very friendly, helpful, and clearly working hard to build something special. Special thanks to Mr. Irfan and Mr. Sadiq, but all the team deserves appreciation. We also enjoyed the thoughtful touches, a fruit plate and juice at arrival, a fridge full of cold water bottles, ice cream at sunset, and flexible breakfast arrangements. Despite being new, the resort gave us a very relaxing and memorable stay.

Negative: Since the resort is still very new (about 4 months), some things are naturally still developing. A few areas had ongoing construction and the WiFi wasn’t always stable. Access can also be challenging, as the road is unpaved, rocky. I chose steep but I managed with a sedan, but the 4x4 transfer they offer (10 OMR) is definitely the easier choice. Walking to the wadi takes about 10–15 minutes on natural rocky terrain with no set path, and going back up is harder, though the staff kindly helped us with a pickup transfer from the Wadi Parking. Communication with the staff is done via phone/WhatsApp since there are no in-room phones.

Positive: Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of magical. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the private pool was incredible, offering a peaceful and luxurious space to relax completely. We felt like we were in our own little bubble of fresh air, completely disconnected from the outside world. What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single team member went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to accommodate our every wish — within their means — was truly heartwarming. Highly recommended!

Negative: Some renovation work is still ongoing in parts of the property, but it's clearly aimed at making the hotel even better in the near future. And while the shower pressure could be stronger, everything else more than made up for it.

Positive: A truly fantastic property with breathtaking views and a perfect location within walking distance of the wadi. The hospitality was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and attentive. A special thank you to Mr. Irfan and Zacharia for going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended! It was the highlight of our whole trip! The road to the resort is not finished yet but possible reach with a small car if you are a good driver 😉 otherwise they can pick you up.

Positive: It was the most beautiful accommodation in Oman. Not only because the rooms are brand new and each has its own private pool with a breathtaking view, but especially the staff are incredibly nice and try to help and take care of you with everything. A separate chapter was the breakfast and dinner - you wouldn't get such a feast even in the best Michelin restaurant.
