Positive: Absolutely amazing. Samsung and her family welcomed us to their family dinner (and drinks), we had an unexpected blast with amazing food made purely from ingredients grown/caught in their garden. Also the bungalow and the morning/dusk atmosphere is everything you ever thought a luxurious Vietnam holiday can be.

Negative: No such a thing.

Positive: What a lovely family to stay with, the double room was small but cosy and a comfortable bed , a nice little shower room which was hot and a balcony. The food was delicious 😋 and plentiful. And the happy water kept flowing all evening 🤪

Positive: Beautiful family welcoming you as if you were home ! They will spend time with you drinking homemade happy water and explain their culture, the house is beautiful, the food is delicious and the lake and villages are wonderful :) definitely would go back ! We biked there and it was a great choice

Positive: I slept at the dorm. It was comfortable although I came in the cold season. I put up my hammock and enjoyed my time. The host is very friendly and helpful.

Positive: An amazing quiet location by the side of the lake. We stayed in the Bungalow and it was quiet and very comfortable. There are plenty of homestays around that you hear noise from if they have group bookings but they stop early and don’t last long. The family are outstanding and generous, they really made the stay for us perfect. We even did the boat trip on the lake with the dad and that was an unexpected highlight.
