Positive: This felt like a genuine home stay. We were welcomed into the property and ate delicious food with the hosts (the best food that we ate in the north of Vietnam!). The views of the lake are beautiful and the is a deep sense of peace, calm and proximity to nature. Brilliant experience and worth the short detour if you are travelling Hanoi to Ha Giang.

Negative: It was all great, but it is close to nature so expect a few bugs and friendly dogs and cats.

Positive: Exceptional homestay experience. The best lakeside location with comfortable terrace and steps down to swim in the warm lake. Staff so helpful...booked us some amazing trips and also found us a way of getting by bus to our next location....we would never have managed without them! May not be cheapest in area but its a proper local enterprise that trains up and provides employment for local people...they truly believe in giving back to their community. The food is incredible...every night a banquet of different dishes eaten with staff and other guests. Honestly the best food we've had in Vietnam. Rooms are rustic but spacious and comfortable. All in all an experience not to miss if you want to experience vietnamese culture and hospitality at its best

Positive: The staff we’re so nice! And the view is absolutely amazing! When we checked in we got some options to explore the neighborhood. We went for a boat trip and they gave us lots of information about the lake and the people who live there. Afterwards we got invited to join them for dinner. This was the most memmorable dinner we had in our time in vietnam. They taught us all the traditions including plenty of rise whine (Po zao!!). A big thank you to Mina, Juan and the rest of the crew. If you have the chance to come here i would definitely go there!
