Positive: The room was huge, the bed was very comfortable, I had a desk and good TV reception. There was literally everything you could possibly need in the kitchen for cooking. Vilma was very friendly, welcoming and generous. There is a little shop around the corner that has a lot of foodstuffs and a Colombian panaderia, just literally a minute down the road, which is super clean, run by a very friendly Colombian couple which has just opened and will be serving meals too.

Negative: The road outside made it very noisy if you stay at the front, but they have a new room at the back which should be a lot quieter.

Summary: Really good value for money.

Positive: The bed is very comfortable and it’s nice to have sofas and your own private space. The hosts are friendly. There is a very friendly cat in the house.

Negative: The listing on booking is very misleading. This is a room in a shared house with the owners and another guest. You do not get the entire apartment as it seems from the listing. They also had water issues and didn’t warn me when they turned off the water. Additionally, I was very confused about the checkin process. I thought I had to contact someone to be let in which led to delays in my arrival, but there is a business on the first floor and someone can let you in during the specified hours.

Summary: Small suite in a house on a busy street with a shared living room and kitchen.
