Positive: Nice interesting Victorian house. Lots of character.

Negative: I thought since it is called “Casa Aldea bed and breakfast” breakfast would be included as it was the last time I booked with booking.com. I was never given the option to add breakfast during the booking and it wasn’t included. Apart from that, everything good.

Positive: The stay was very comfortable. Clean room, comfortable bed and warm water in the shower. The hosts are friendly and hospitable. There is a possibility of breakfast, which is prepared right on the spot. There is also a cafe on the territory where you can have dinner and drink Sangria. Everything is very tasty! A taxi to the airport costs about $20. The journey will take about 20 minutes. We recommend!

Positive: The place has lots of charm. It was very quiet at night. The convenience of having an attached restaurant. We had a delicious pizza there and the included breakfast there was very good.

Positive: The restaurant attached to the hotel is really nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a nice dinner and breakfast there. I chose the hotel for the proximity to the Parque Metropolitano La Sabana and Museum of Costa Rican Art, where I planned to go for a jaunt before my flight, and that worked out well. The hotel is also in good proximity to one of the bus terminals that can get you to the airport, so I had a really easy time for my last day of my trip. I didn't get to take advantage of this service, but it looked like there were a lot of nice options for day trips supported through the hotel.

Negative: It's an older building, so there is a lot of creaking whenever someone moves. It really wasn't too bad, since everyone at the hotel was quiet-- I was mostly self-conscious in case I was creaking too much! This isn't necessarily negative, but something for guests to be aware of is that you have to ring the bell to go in and out of the hotel. It's a good safety precaution, but it is just something you have to plan around.
