Positive: Stunning property. A real hidden gem. Lovely owner and staff who made us and our driver feel very welcome. Lots of space and a beautiful outside pool, surrounded by jungle noises. The food was lovely too.

Positive: Villa Sole is the most wonderful villa. The hosts are exceptional & nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed a beautiful traditional dinner & breakfast. The villa is so spacious, extremely clean & offers everything you need to feel at home. There is nothing they haven’t thought of. The pool area is gorgeous & just the right temperature. We also felt very safe during our stay. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Positive: Pool Hall Traditional breakfast spread
Negative: The location is a bit far from the city, and it’s situated on a narrow lane, which makes parking a large van difficult. None of the rooms have attached bathrooms, each washroom is shared between two rooms. Also, tissues are not provided in the rooms. Other than the above concerns, our stay at this property was truly memorable. Special kudos to the staff Ram, Chandra Kumar, and Akki!

Positive: We loved the facilities at the property and the fact that we had the whole house to ourselves.
Negative: The breakfast was somewhat lacking. With limited menu options that left us wanting more. Having ordered hoppers, the only type we were offered was the plain hopper. (No egg or sweet option). We were also charged extra for eggs. Not what you expect fir breakfast. That said the chef was always willing cater to our needs but I feel that his ability was somewhat restricted by management. No soaps in the room.
Summary: Great property but look elsewhere if you want to experience SL hospitality.

Positive: Beautiful, spacious, clean, and tranquil accommodation. Raj and his colleague were very kind and welcoming, and they did their best to make our group feel comfortable and well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay.
Negative: While this property was exceptionally beautiful, none of the ten guests were able to have a hot shower over two days. It seems there may be a timer that limits the hot water to just one or two minutes, which made the experience quite disappointing. Additionally, the property is located about 30 minutes from Kandy city centre, which is not very convenient.
