Positive: We were looked after by a lovely pair of older ladies who cooked us the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts and dinners. We were also greeted by the owner, Nihal, who had come up for a couple of days from Colombo, and we sat two nights on the patio with him drinking gin and tonic and hearing about the history and politics of the region. It was a wonderful stay and will be much remembered. Thank you.

Positive: We arrived in the evening after a long train journey. We were tired and hungry and our hosts gave us the best welcome! We met Nihal and his family who invited us to have drinks with them and it was so great chatting with them. The housekeepers had prepared us a Sri Lankan dinner which was outstanding - probably the best food we’ve tried during our month long stay! They were just so kind and they really looked after us. Breakfast was also absolutely amazing. The villa is gorgeous and the location is in Badulla town which was great, we did have a little look around the next morning. The room and bathroom were spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Great shower too. Highly recommend staying here - it was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka.
