Positive: The location directly at the beach and the layout of the villa was great.

Negative: An AC was broken, the staff had made up the bed in that room mentioning we should use the fan. We ended up taking the sheets of the bed in that room and set the bed on the second floor. Staff could have thought about this instead of letting us figure it out ourselves. However she was nice and apologized about the broken AC and discomfort the next morning.

Summary: Villa Aurora is a great house and if we ever go back to gili Mello we will definately book it again.

Positive: Lovely place, well decorated, nice and helpful staff. Perfect piece of mind. The place is just in front of the beach. The beach is full of corals, better to bring shoes to enter in the water.

Negative: There was no hot water in 3 bedrooms out of 4. Well then it is an island and some bugs to deal with it is normal. The stuff helped us. The pool product made yellow our clothes. This was annoying..

Positive: Perfect quite location with easy access to all points of interest. Spacious property, right on the beach but still with full privacy, outdoor kitchen and seating, sufficient private pool.

Negative: Some furnishings could be upgraded.

Summary: Comfortable stay at quite location, a lot of space for everybody staying in the villa.

Positive: The villa is big and well suited for a big family or four pairs. Rooms are big, clean, and well decorated. The pool is nice. It's right on the beach, and we saw many turtles when snorkling from the beach at high tide. Nearby Sasak Cafe was really good!

Negative: Although there is a kitchen with pots and pans, the things weren't properly clean and didn't feel nice to use.

Positive: We travelled with together as a family of 4 - myself and my wife and my daughter aged 11 and son aged 8. First of all I’d like to say that Iwan was amazing. He looked after us like family and made sure we had everything we needed. He made her trip so so special and we will definitely keep in touch with him. He helped to organise everything including sharp knives when I bought a watermelon and there were none at the property. Nothing was too much. There is lots of fun stuff to do on the island. While we were there Iwan organised it all for us and got us a great price for everything - boat trip snorkeling - boat trip snorkelling and fishing - Iwan’s cousin then prepared and cooked the fish at her lovely restaurant and it was delicious - horse riding around the island - we also hired bikes and ride around the island which was great fun Iwan also organised our return boat trip to Bali including smaller boat from outside our property to Gili t port We swam with turtles and saw amazing fish. Everyone on the island is lovely and friendly and the pace is laid back and super chilled. The sea isn’t really suitable for swimming as you need to wear reef shoes or fin as we were warned about the sea urchins. Plus there is rock and coral surrounding the island. The you can actually wade out to see the statues from above outside Bask which is about a 15 mins walk from the villa. There are lots of nice restaurants all up the west side of the island. You are spoilt for choice! And all budgets are catered for. The property was massive and absolutely lovely. It had 4 bedrooms all with ensuite (three with showers and one with a lovely bath). Each room is lockable with a separate key from the inside and outside. It felt really safe and secure. The front gate is secured but a chain and padlock. All bedrooms have big beds that are super comfy and great air con. They also have mosquito nets.

Negative: Nothing!!!

Summary: An Absolutely amazing holiday home 5 stars!
