Positive: Everything was superb - the location, the standard of the room and the service. Meno House is a perfect escape - quiet, but still with plenty to do and a nice, warm, friendly atmosphere. The free snorkelling equipment and bikes were a real plus. Having the sea and a pool right outside your room is a real blessing and one which we took advantage of as much as possible. The room itself was excellent. Everything you could need and finished to a high standard and well maintained, with daily cleaning if required and an evening draw-down service. The staff here are all excellent and it’s evidently a well-run show. The adjoining bar/restaurant is a great retreat where you can grab a fantastic meal at a reasonable price. All drinks too were excellent and like the rest of Meno House, so were the staff. A special mention to Iggy and the team for making us feel at home and chatting whenever we were there. A real credit to this excellent spot. We aren’t a couple who would usually return to the same location twice, but we will do all we can to return here in the near future.

Positive: Great location just in front of the sea. Perfect spot to see the sunset. Meno House is a quiet and private hotel with very good facilities. The breakfast is good however could have more options. The hotel has snorkeling equipment, bikes and kayaks for the guest. You can also schedule great tours with the hotel. In our case we made a snorkeling tour (go pro included).

Negative: For the value you paid it will be great to see a few improvements: -Breakfast with more options; -The acoustics of the room -> during the night we heard music (probably from Gili T); -The rooms should have window blackouts -> at 6h30 there is lots of light in the room. -The dinner sometimes can take a little while than we expected.

Positive: The location was really good. Calm and right in front of Turtle point. The rooms were super comfortable and clean. They make water available for you whenever you want and leave little treats everyday. You can use snorkeling equipment, kayaks, bikes, etc… The restaurant does’t have a big menu but everything they offer is really good.

Negative: Nothing that I didn’t like but can leave 2 points more as improvement ideas if it makes sense for the team: 1 - Have more options on the menu for the restaurant (not sure if this is possible because the logistics on the Island don’t seem too easy) 2 - Have an alternative to the horses for guest to get to the hotel and/or to the port. Having something like an electric bike with a little trailer or similar.

Positive: Beautiful hotel on Gili Meno, secluded and right in front of the beach. The hotel is small and intimate, clean and just a few steps from the sea (where we even saw turtles). You can borrow snorkeling gear for free which is very convient, as well as bicycles (which however would need some maintenance and are not so useful anyway as biking on the sand is not easy). Breakfast is not with a buffet, but with plently of choices and delicious. Dinner as well was very nice, with reasonable prices.

Negative: We had some unpleasant events, which bring our evaluation of the stay a bit down. After our first night we went to settle the bill from the dinner and drinks of the day before and were charged for some items from the minifridge, which we hadn’t taken. We explained this and they correctly resolved it. We ordered a boat to bring us to the airport at 9:45, which however arrived early. We were relaxing by the pool before leaving and were informed the boat was there and sort of pressured into leaving (staff was waiting outside and staring into our room, which made us feel we had to hurry). We wanted to settle some of the bill from the restaurant by cash but were forced to do so by card, just because they had already inputted into the system that it would have been by card - without asking. While on the boat to the airport, literally two minutes after we left, they checked our room and called the driver to ask whether we had taken the laundry bag - which we mistakenly did. It seemed a bit too much and like they felt they needed to immediately check, as if we were thieves.
