Positive: Friendlyness of the host, she made us a realy good breakfast and fixed us some bikes. The exotic houses are located on their home property, with a private terrace and our own bathroom. The bed has a musqueetonet around it. It was located next to a Warung with good food and athmosphere and only a few 100 meters from the wonderfull beaches.

Negative: The AC made quite some noise, but we fixed this with earplugs. There was some smell coming from the drain in the bathroom, probably the (lack of a) siffon. This aint the end of the world, but is not very pleasant. All my respect to local tradition and religion, but we cannot seem to get used to the loud prayers at 5 am, something for other tourists to keep in mind if you're looking for a good night sleep! To our opininion the price was a bit high (54€/night in July), but we appreciated our stay here.

Positive: Unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights at the Exotic House – a shame, because we loved it so much and would have happily stayed longer. The place was very cozy, the AC worked perfectly, and the outdoor area was beautiful. We had access to water at all times, and there was also the option to make tea or coffee. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. Anytime we had questions or needed help, we were assisted immediately. The hosts are truly kind-hearted people. We can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation! Thank you for the wonderful time!

Positive: The place is nice and with all the comforts. you can rent bikes from the family for 50k idr per day to visit all the island. The breakfast was also nice and the check in until late (noon) was useful. Welcoming family :)

Negative: Everything was nice :) maybe, if I remember correctly, it was just missing toiletries (soap/shampoo).

Positive: We had a relaxed stay for 16 days at Exotic House. Ria and Samy are such a lovely couple. If in Gili Meno I would recommend highly to stay with them. The room is big, and there's an extra bedroom so there would be space for a small family or two couples. There's a large, private outside space with beautiful flowers. The bathroom has a shower with fresh, hot water! This is very rare on the island as most places have only salt water in the showers. Samy pays to have fresh water transported from Lombok. The bed and mattress is comfortable, and the AC works well. The location is good, in the middle of the island, so a short walk to everything. About 12 minute walk from the harbour. There's also drinking water to fill your bottles(not cold). This also produces boiling water for tea/coffee. The breakfast is amazing! Most days Ria made Indonesian breakfast for us on request, which was tastier than some restaurants. Also fresh fruit and fruit juice every day. The best part however was Ria and Samy, such sweet people. We had interesting conversations over breakfast, and it was really nice to get to know them. Will miss them and their hospitality!

Negative: There could be more places for hanging clothes, if I have to mention something that could be improved. One thing to be aware of is that you can hear the mosque from here. You can hear it from anywhere on the island though, so this is just something to be aware of anywhere in the Gilis, and is of no fault of the hosts. We recommend to bring good ear plugs.
