Positive: Where do we start! What an experience! Kadek and Ketut were the most amazing hosts during our recent 4 night stay with them. Being in a very remote location we needed to hire scooters to travel around, however I was not confident to use one so Ketut took me everywhere with my husband following on his own scooter behind. We saw the most stunning waterfalls, beautiful views overlooking the local rice terraces, ate some wonderful local food, booked a Balinese cooking class, visited temples and trekked through the jungle. Kadek even took us for a free tour around his family village. We walked around his family compound and met his beautiful family, all of us sipping Balinese coffee together. If you are looking for a true Balinese experience then this is your place. Yes it is remote and you may need support to explore the area but this will all be arranged for you. Please come to visit this home stay 🙏👍 Thank you Kadek and Ketut 🙏

Positive: Very quiet; comfortable large room; so many natural spots to explore in and around Munduk — rice terraces, waterfalls, and nearby Lake Tamblingan. Having your own transport makes it a bit easier, but Ketut was very good about driving me on her motorbike to some nearby waterfalls, as well as into town. I certainly saw everything that I wanted to see and more! Ketut and Kadek do their best to help you get the most out of your visit. They recommended some very nice restaurants, as well as a great spot to watch the sun set on the rice terraces (magical). After a 6 night stay, I would say that I came as a guest and left as a friend. Thank you so much Ketut and Kadek! 🙏🙏

Positive: Staying at Umah Yugadi was the highlight of my trip to Bali. Everyone here is truly exceptional and I felt right at home. They do a great job of helping to book activities and coordinating transport from place to place. Ketut served a delicious breakfast every morning and always made sure I was comfortable. Kadek was so welcoming and by the time I left it truly felt we were family. I’m already dreaming of the next time we visit!

Positive: The place is simple but could accommodate all we needed. Staffs are very helpful, I checked in late and have problem with our rent car and they helped thoughtfully. They also gave top notch recommendations of places to visit.

Positive: - The host is simply incredible and by its energy and generosity he makes the stay really stands out! He is really welcoming and invites you to discover the life of real balinese people far from the touristic routes. He likes to share how he lives (and also to sing 🤭) and is really willing to give his guest the best stay possible. Amazing host, it is quite rare nowadays! - The room is confortable with its own terrace - You can eat directly at the hotel

Negative: - the bathroom does not have a window so there is humidity. Nothing to worry about just so you know

Positive: Quiet and peaceful location near Munduk - perfect if you want to explore the waterfalls. Staff is incredibly nice and treats you like family. Rooms are clean and full of little detail amenities to make your stay worthwhile - they definitely go the extra mile here. The surrounding nature is beautiful and makes this location perfect for a getaway from the busy streets of Denpasar.

Positive: It is the best service we had from all of our accommodations during our trip to Bali. It is a bit further from the closest town but they do everything to ensure their guests are having a great time from giving recommendations ahead of the stay on the possible hikes to helping customers with organising their tourism onsite. They really understand what excellent service means and go above and beyond. To put it in context there’s no “big cities” around Munduk as it is a nature destination and Kadek and Ketut make all they can to help. My tips would be that for Munduk you need a scooter or a driver or be a serial trekker 😅
