Positive: The view is really amazing. The accommodation is located on a steep hill in the middle of the amazing green. The tent is super comfy, very good bed en again super nice view. Good food, amazing breakfast. The facilities are all super clean. Close by are the waterfalls, you can just walk down and there’s the waterfalls.

Positive: We had a quick one night stay here to break up our trip but wish we had booked for more. The view was incredible and noise of nature first thing in the morning was amazing. We had a tent with a private bathroom which was located under the tent (via external stairs) and it was beautiful. Room was clean, private and night time was the perfect temperature. Food and drink were delicious and plenty of gluten free options.

Negative: Service was a bit slow (I ended up going up to the counter order more food/drink when needed as no one was checking in to see how our food was or clearing our plates) but very lovely staff and delicious food. Not a problem for us but as others have mentioned there are a lot of stairs, some steep which would have been a problem for those who can't manage them.

Positive: Desa Eko was an absolute dream for us: surrounded by stunning nature that wrapped us in peace and serenity. We truly enjoyed our time there. Staying in tents in the middle of the rainforest was a unique and unforgettable experience. Everyone was incredibly kind, and welcoming.
