Positive: Desa Eko was an absolute dream for us: surrounded by stunning nature that wrapped us in peace and serenity. We truly enjoyed our time there. Staying in tents in the middle of the rainforest was a unique and unforgettable experience. Everyone was incredibly kind, and welcoming.

Positive: We loved the stunning views, the warm and welcoming staff, and the beautifully designed tent. Being from South Africa originally, we felt right at home - the thoughtful details and refined touches made the experience truly special. Perfectly located near the waterfalls, it's an ideal place to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Negative: The only aspect that didn’t quite resonate with us was the presence of certain spiritual elements. While this may appeal to some guests, as Christians, we found it a bit overwhelming at times.

Positive: Amazing glamping facility with two very clean shared bathrooms and an excellent restaurant. The main area, composed in reception, kitchen and restaurant, is a beautiful open-air wooden structure where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with an amazing view of the forest. The room is basically the tent on the platform with the forest view, the feeling is to be truly inside the nature. Walking down from the hotel you can reach the river with the yoga platform, then you can start the beautiful waterfall trekking.

Negative: Too much humidity in the tent.

Summary: One of the best places we have been in Bali. Great nature vibe and good place to start trekking.
