Positive: They provided a local bus pass to town so we didn’t have to pay for parking downtown. We enjoyed the kitchen facilities. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean.

Negative: The pots and pans don’t really fit the tiny stove. They could use some bigger bowls for salad and soup.

Positive: Great view. Very pleasant and informative front desk staff (Lily?). Easy access and parking. Rocky Mountain soap products were welcomed and enjoyed - we went and bought some before going home.

Negative: When we initially booked via Bookings.com we had decided on the cottage. But had some questions so we called the resort. We were told the cottage was not available. So we booked a condo. While I was on the phone my wife was able to book the cottage which we originally wanted. So, for the next 3 days we had two reservations until we could feel assured the cottage was ours. So I called the resort, confirmed the reservation and cancelled the condo. Apparently, my wife had more up-to-date availability data than Bookings.com, even though they told us it was our data that was not up to date. When we first checked in the table was dirty. It had very poor kitchen lighting. Living room TV remote required setup as it had no channels programmed. One under-counter kitchen light didn't work, which might have helped a bit, but still would have been dark when working at the kitchen counter. Fireplace back-drafted terribly(I have had fireplaces my whole life - I had doors, windows and the flue all open, but it still filled the cottage with smoke). Our daughters couldn't sleep upstairs until I got the fire out and and cleared the smoke. The front desk said they were getting chimney cleaners in the following week, which didn't provide any comfort to us. We were there two nights and requested a housekeeping touchup on the second day. They did not leave us coffee or whitener.

Positive: It was an amazing stay. We got one of the rooms with kitchenette, which was perfect and it had all the amenities needed. The room was very big and the beds super confortable. The laundry was also very good and easy to use and they are located ideally. The hotel is in the outside of Banff, which gives plenty of opportunities to see some wildlife, but they provide free bus service to the city center which was very convenient. We stayed there for three nights and it was like being at home. 100% would recommend.
