Positive: Great communication from host. Wood burner stocked with wood and ready to go. Beautiful property with amazing surroundings and exactly what you need for a country cottage getaway to Wales. Comfy beds and very clean and has everything you need to cook.

Positive: Gorse cottage was lovely. A cosy cottage (one of about 6 I think) in very well converted farm out-buildings. Really thick walls keeping heat in and cold out. A fabulous wood burner, which we used one evening and ended up letting it go out early as it was so effective and the cottage was boiling. The kitchen, although small, had everything we needed, we cooked at home one night and had take away on another. Bathroom was spotless and a great shower and lots of light from the velux window. Some nice walking options straight from the location but we mostly went out in the car exploring local beaches, villages and towns., You do have to navigate a narrow road to get to and from the property but it's only for a few minutes.. The host, Rob, was lovely and greeted us on arrival but then left us be (though they were onsite if needed). They have chickens and sell the fresh eggs. We bought 12 for £3, they were massive! Would definitely recommend staying here if you like the peace and quiet of the country and exploring Cardigan.

Negative: The narrow road to the property but it's well worth it and it's not that far from the main road.

Positive: Stunning and peaceful location. With many walks on your doorstep. The deck overlooking the field, wood and river was a treat. Property was well thought out and beautifully appointed. Everything you need is there and dog friendly

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at the Granary Cottage. Rob, the host, was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage itself is fantastic—beautifully maintained and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. There’s also a lovely outdoor area where children can play, which was a big plus for us. The surrounding area is stunning, with few pathways perfect for walking and exploring. The beach is just a 10-minute drive away, making it easy to enjoy the coast as well. We also loved the local pub nearby—it had a great atmosphere, and the locals were very friendly and easy to chat with. Overall, a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back

Positive: Location was great, in a valley at the end of a road, but easy to explore with a car. My only issue was the fire wood was difficult to get going, needed more kindling?
