Positive: Quiet. Once we'd found the property and worked out parking it was very good. Self catering, but very well supplied with dishes etc. Everything seems fairly new. Clean and comfortable.
Negative: It's a bit remote (which if fine) and we arrived in daytime so were able to suss out directions and parking. Arriving on a dark, wet night might prove more tricky. We had 2 cars but Rob next door was extremely helpful and moved his so we could unpack close to the house. Otherwise, no complaints and all was good.
Summary: The owners have taken care to provide an excellent venue. Recommended. We wish we could have stayed.

Positive: Peaceful, ideal location close to both Cardigan bay 12-15 minutes( Tesco superstore 12 minutes) and Aberporth 15 minutes. Comfortable, well appointed cottage with a well stocked kitchen ( utensils, pans etc.) . The extra items in the shower room were very much appreciated. The owners were easily contactable and very quick to sort out a minor problem we had.
Negative: parking - although we had designated spaces two of these were taken by other vehicles. Most days we had to park up unpack, get the children out and then go and double park in the area a few metres away . Not a great problem but annoying when we were told there was a space outside the cottage.
Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay in this original, comfortable property.

Positive: The attention to detail. The quality of appliances. The cleanliness. The total and utter peace and quiet. The daily visit of a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. Exceptional.

Positive: Peaceful, welcoming, comfortable & to a good standard of decor. The setting may have been a bit out on a limb for some ( down a ungravelled track) however we found it all charming.
Negative: It would have been a 10/10 if access to outside was easier, as you needed to go out of front door around the side & gain entry to the back area passing others front door. However totally understand this is a fabulous old cottage conversion & putting in a back door would have been major structural alterations & we did meet & get on very well with the neighbour. Just thinking of families constantly running back & forth & disturbing the peace of the courtyard to access the BBQ area & garden really ,this is not a criticism .
Summary: Tranquil & calm cottage & setting , decor to a high standard in a beautiful location, definitely wish to return
