Surfside is the BEST south shore beach community on Nantucket, with lifeguarded beaches, bath house facilities, awesome eats at Surfside Beach Shack, bike bath and shuttle bus access.
This property was built in 2005 and renovated in 2019 and is beautifully appointed with attention to every detail! Private, yet close to town and beaches, the property is centrally air-conditioned, and features a brand new 16 x 34 heated salt water pool with lounge chairs, deck with gas grill and dining table/chairs, outdoor shower and covered porch with glider for morning coffee and glimpses of wildlife! The home also has large beautiful lawn and garden area.
Enter the home via front door to custom mahogany "cooks" kitchen with Wolf and SubZero appliances. The dining area is open-boasts beautiful pool and pastoral views, and seats 8-10 comfortably. The living room features large tv/cable, landline telephone and comfortable chairs.
There is one bedroom on the first floor which features a queen sized bed, with ensuite bath/shower, and has direct access to the deck and pool via french doors.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms. First the master suite which has king sized bed, walk in closet, cable tv and large bathroom with "Tea for Two" tub and separate shower. The second bedroom upstairs has pool views, twin beds, and ensuite bath with shower. The basement is fully finished and beautifully appointed. You can access it from the first floor and also from the back yard. This room features full bath with shower, queen sized bed, bunks, sectional couch with cable tv and kitchenette. (perfect for two families vacationing together).
I have been in the hospitality industry for 21 years, and take pride in my rental business which is secondary to my profession as a teacher. My guests are comfortable every year, and I have had repeat customers for many years! I am on island so I am available to you for any help you might need!

Summary: My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Surfside home. House was clean and well laid out. Pool was awesome and heated just right. Location was good, convenient to Surfside Beach, Bike trails and a short ride to town. Overall was a great experience

Summary: Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful time at Rainbow's End! We had never been to Nantucket before and after our weeklong trip, we felt confident that Rainbow's End was the best place to stay! The beach was only 5 minutes away on bikes and it was the best beach. Surfside Beach is spacious, has fun waves, and the sand was great. Having a pool to hang at in the afternoon was a treat. Also, biking into town for restaurants was so easy. No more than 20 minutes away. Additionally, Galen was more than helpful and went above and beyond to help us and ensure that we had a wonderful vacation. We highly recommend this place!

Summary: Rainbow's End was everything and more. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived and every detail was seen to: from a well stocked kitchen, to beautiful bed linens, and even hair towels! There were beach chairs and an umbrella available and a plethora of beach/pool towels, which we really appreciated! The property feels so private and secluded, but you are only a short bike ride (10 min) away from 2 different beaches and a short ride into town to all the restaurants and shops. My kiddos especially loved the pool, I really loved the thoughtfulness and quality of the kitchen supplies, and my husband was all about the location (both the location on the island itself and how gorgeous the property is). Galen was a great communicator; expectations were clear and she was easy to get in touch with when questions arose. We really can't wait to go back and are already planning a return trip!

Summary: From the time we arrived Galen was the perfect host. She was always available to answer questions. The property was exactly as it was listed. There was plenty of space for our family. We are big cookers, the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the items we needed. We were celebrating birthdays, and did a family photo shoot on the property because it was so lovely. She changed out the flowers in the planter boxes and communicated with us any time she needed to be on the property when we were there. The porch is absolutely magical for morning coffee and evening strumming on the guitar. Would 100% rent again. Easy access to the beach as well as biking and walking trails quiet and cozy. If you’ve never been to Nantucket Island, I highly recommend renting this place. We have a 6 month old baby and took the basement which is perfect for a family with younger ones.

Summary: Hoise was spacious and clean. Galen is a great host and leaves certain amenities which is nice…dish detergent/laundry detergent/shampoo etc. Very helpful. Spacious basement perfect for teens. Well stocked kitchen and the pool was Fabulous.

Summary: My husband and I had a wonderful week at Rainbow’s End with our family. The house is amazing and is equipped with everything you need. We all enjoyed the pool that was warm and very clean. The location of the house is great. You can ride bikes to the beach and going to town is just a short drive. Galen is great and is always there to answer and questions you may have. This home is very clean and well cared for. I highly recommend this home and we hope to return again next year. Thank you Galen we all had a wonderful week!!
