Positive: Smaller boutique style hotel on the vegetable village island. Great pool area and good temperature, but make sure you wear footwear if visiting in the mid-afternoon as the pool surrounds were blisteringly hot. We were able to get drinks from the bar/restaurant while poolside. Staff always came out to us with towels. Beautiful view over the little lake and river lagoon from our room. No noise heard from other guests.

Negative: Breakfast was a-la-carte and a bit limited, although we understand that a buffet breakfast in a smaller hotel would be problematic. It was a fair walk into Hoi An and An Bang beach along pretty hectic roads. Best to use one of the free bikes, hire a scooter (if you have the balls for it) or get a grab from the end of the road. Shower tended to flood the whole bathroom.

Positive: Place is set in the middle of vegetable gardens, it’s very calming. Staff is wonderful, very helpful.

Negative: The property is about 3-4km from town, we had to use bicycles to get to town or to the beach. Too far on foot. Breakfast was not included, we ate at restaurant attached to our stay and it was not worth the money, portions were too small. We found a place Saga homestay with huge portions of food.

Positive: Beautiful accommodation in the village. The room was huge and breakfast was delicious. We particularly liked that it was in a peaceful and nature-rich location. Really easy to use Grab’s to get about. Nice pool which I had all to myself 😊

Summary: Highly recommend, great value for money, peaceful and very comfortable.

Positive: A nice tranquil villa nestled within the organic vegetable gardens. It’s perfectly situated between the beach and Hoi a town itself. The rooms are spacious and the staff are so lovely. They genuinely couldn’t do more for you. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels added. Couldn’t fault the service or the room for the price paid. A bike lane takes you into town or to the beach. Bike hire is available free of charge but we ended up hiring a scooter and nipping to Da Nang for food on a couple of occasions. The beach is a 20 minute walk. The airport transfer via the hotel is worth it for ease. It’s cheaper than Grab.

Negative: The wifi was a little bit slow but we got a local sim and worked around this. Our WiFi need was probably not typical since we were both on video calls for work. If you just want to watch Netflix then it’s absolutely fine.

Positive: Super relaxing, quiet and tranquil place to stay. Our room had a very nice bathroom and spacious area for making yourself feel at home, with a balcony also. The surroundings are lush and green and just so peaceful amongst locals. The staff are also super nice- Sarah and the porters could not do enough for us. Breakfast is also DELICIOUS!! Also there is a cheeky little poodle called Lei who hangs around during the day, who is cute but dirty 😅

Positive: All the staff were amazing but Sarah Kim was truly exceptional and made every part of my stay a delight from the airport transfer to arranging a diving day and dealing with all my daft queries with a smile. Also the restaurant food is superb- in a different league to anything I found in the nearby beach resort. And the pool provides welcome relief from the heat

Negative: I wish I’d known earlier how good the restaurant was! I’d have eaten there every night

Positive: Peacefulness. Lovely location not far by cycle to the beach or Hoi An town. Staff were very helpful.

Negative: The shower is a wet room. Every time you used the shower it soaked the floor which is to be expected. However it did not dry. Each time you needed to use the toilet you had to use the sliders, provided by the hotel, and roll up your trouser legs. Not a bit issue but a bit annoying as the water didnt drain away as expected.
