Positive: Good location for Shambhala Lovely location in nature Spacious dorm Friendly host family Nice chilled atmosphere

Negative: Bed a little uncomfortable (hard mattress) Showering a bit hit and miss as per other reviews but I didn't really mind as I was expecting it! Water is cold but that's what you need 99.9% of the time so not a problem.

Positive: Thong is amazing, always kind and caring. The dormitory is so cool, quiet and comfy. The diner food is amazing. If you want to try a local experience , this is the place to be, to have a quiet time and meet beautiful people. Thank you for everything 💜✨🙏🏻

Positive: Thong is an amazing host and speaks very good english! The food the family made was amazing and can definitely recommend spending 100 baht for dinner. Don't expect luxury, but a wonderful place in nature with a welcoming family. We also had a bbq with Thong and other guests. There is no AC in the dorm rooms, but the it cools down at night, so it's comfortable. The area is best explored on a motorbike, possibly a bicycle.

Negative: Water pressure could be better in the shower, but not a big problem.

Positive: Everything! Great food until you're completely full whenever you want to for a cheap price. Absolutely lovely family that will do anything to make your stay wonderful. They drived me here and there just because they're nice. The rooms are great with fans and extra sheets. They have nice hammocks in the common areas. The neighborhood is friendly and peaceful. There were many good working showers and toilets with soap and shampoo. Of course they offer scooter rental. There is a free local hot spring in 2km of the property. Rooms are very clean and they provide free drinking water and coffee 24/7 ...and lots of mango! <3

Positive: Real homestay you are Part of Tong's family. Excellent dinner & breakfast..you get Shaan food. Scooter for rent.

Negative: Walking to hot spring 25 minutes, Seven Eleven or Chiang Dao Cave without scooter a bit far away, if Tong is not busy she will bring you.
