Positive: Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room that we stayed in. Attention to small details, including a bottle of milk in the fridge for our tea. Excellent shower.

Negative: We were lucky to get the final parking space in the car park, which is a little small.

Negative: When staying in the stables, the rooms could do with better double glazing as its really loud early morning when the barrels are being loaded into the cellar of the bar

Positive: The bar was very homely and the staff were very friendly, particularly the manager who showed us to our room. The room was spacious and well decorated and the bed was very comfortable.

Negative: Breakfast - bacon sandwich - bacon had a lot of fat and the bread wasn't buttered. No orange juice.

Summary: We loved this hotel and despite my negative comments re breakfast we would definitely recommend.
