Positive: There was no breakfast but there were a few little snacks with coffee

Negative: It had snowed and it was icy and cold out and it would have been good if there was some salt put down on the steps and walkway because it was slippery

Positive: Quaint property, location not far from Portsmouth- amenities in lobby/ snacks, tea, coffee, water

Negative: The AC/heating in our room (room 6) did not work. Woke up in middle of the night and the room was 75 degrees and very hot- tried to change thermostat but it said it needed batteries and we were stuck trying to get comfortable all night due to the heat. No staff on property to ask but regardless it was 3 am so wouldn’t have helped. Other than that only other thing worth mentioning which isn’t the fault of the hotel but when considering location- be aware the memorial draw bridge that connects to Portsmouth is functional. We got stuck on the bridge in the cold/wind for 20 minutes and were late for a reservation.
