Positive: Lovely quiet location only a short drive to the airport. Surrounded by peaceful gardens. Quick on time pickup on arrival (included in the price) even though it was very late at night. Large room with modern bathroom. Good quality breakfast and dinner. Hotel organised a tuk tuk to take me down to Negombo beach for lunch. Highly recommended as a quiet place to recover on arrival from a long flight.

Positive: The setting of the hotel with the garden is very lovely - it feels away from city life and you can hear the birds. The water pressure in the shower was very good.

Negative: The food wasn’t very good at the hotel, and most of the restaurants were 20 minutes away by car. I think the room could be improved with a few small touches - for example providing a couple of glasses, adding a shelf by the shower so you don’t have to put all your toiletries on the floor, removing the manufacturing sticker on the toilet, etc. The shower drain didn’t work very well so we had to turn off the shower every few seconds to allow it to drain.

Summary: Garden was lovely but we were disappointed with the food.

Positive: Set in beautifully maintained gardens with a lovely pool, this is a great place to stay in Negombo. Most people only stay the night before or after their flight, so if you want a lovely pool to yourselves for a couple of days, this is the place to stay. It’s easy to get to from Colombo too. If you want to go to Negombo Town or beach it is just a short yuk Rukeyser ride away, easily booked using the excellent PickMe app. We only had breakfast at the hotel, and that was fine, but they do serve dinner too, though there are no vegetarian options. The manager keeps everything just so and the. Rest of the staff are cheery.
