Positive: The location is amazing, yet close to lots of amenities and breathtaking Northumberland countryside. The property is beautiful, done to a very high standard and provided everything we needed. Attention to detail is fab. Even better with the Christmas tree and decorations. Hot tub a great bonus.

Negative: A few things like the small fridge & freezer . The clothes horse was broken so we couldn’t dry our towels etc . A lot of the plates were chipped , menial but not ideal.

Positive: Really cosy and comfortable place to stay. Lots of character as you would expect from a former church. Despite the negatives we would definitely stay again.

Negative: Not the cleanest. No welcome pack. Not enough firewood, no kindling, no fire lighters. Food left in the toaster (breaded mushroom we think).

Positive: Absolutely perfect Christmas escape we had such a wonderful & relaxing time couldn’t have asked for more. The chapel has been restored to a really high standard and the finish is beautiful. Lovely setting & nice walk into Hexham.
