Positive: The staff were very friendly, excellent amenities and we loved the river views from the bar and breakfast area. Great to have a large car park so parking wasn't an issue. Very good breakfast, with a good choice.

Negative: The only thing we didn't like was that there were no electric charging points available for electric cars. In this time of more and more people choosing electric cars, some charging points would have been very welcome. We had to drive around 10 miles to Reading to find a charger for our return journey..

Positive: The location was superb and so peaceful. The rooms and facilities were excellent. We dined at the Coppa Club where the food was superb and the service excellent. The only downside for me was the service charge on our bill, I may be old fashioned but I like to decide for myself how much gratuity to leave and not have it presented as a fait accompli. Otherwise I would have rated higher

Negative: Would have preferred a direct access to the Coppa Club as in inclement weather the walk to the accommodation block would be wet.
