Positive: The Swallows Rest is in a beautiful barn conversion, and is perfectly located just a short and very pleasant walk from Avebury village. The room is more like a small flat and has great facilities, including a toaster, microwave and washing machine with lovely furnishing and decorations. We had a very pleasant and relaxing couple of days. Thankyou.

Positive: Walking distance to the main site, comfortable, cosy and quirky, great selection of books, and lovely ‘good for your body’ bathroom products. Perfect for an Avebury visit.

Negative: Although the fridge is huge and great on one level - it does mean the second guest is sleeping with the noise of this - a smaller one tucked somewhere might ultimately be a better option

Positive: Great quiet location. We were able to walk everyone easily. Scones on arrival were very welcoming. Heating and shower was great. Hosts greeted us which was handy as they gave us a lot of information for our visit.

Negative: Beds were a bit hard for our liking. The kitchenette was very basic, only a toaster and microwave.
