This historic cottage, brimming with original features, and dating back to 1859, welcomes you with a well-equipped kitchen, and an open-plan sitting room with wood burning stove and a dining area. A pretty internal passageway leads you through from the front of the cottage to the back garden, and the rear porch area allows you to relax at a table and chairs with a coffee, looking out to the south-facing garden. On the first floor of this characterful cottage and off a large landing area, you will find the two spacious bedrooms, each with beautiful beamed ceilings, plus a family bathroom and a separate shower room.
Just steps away from the cottage is the popular village tearooms where you can enjoy breakfast, a tasty lunch or perhaps a delicious cream tea, and you are spoilt for choice with three pubs located on the high street, just a short stroll away, and a well-stocked village store.

Summary: The Old Court House couldn’t be better placed in the village making access to the surroundings very easy. It is quiet, next door to the best pub food and across the road from the village shop.You will love it - we did.
