Positive: This was a fantastic cottage in beautiful, well kept & extensive gardens. The hosts have thought of everything. The cottage was immaculately clean & had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, coffee machine & fridge freezer. The living room was cosy & comfortable & upstairs were 2 lovely bedrooms and a shower room. There is also a downstairs toilet. The hosts are friendly & left a welcome pack with bread, milk, eggs & a homemade cake. We enjoyed using the heated outdoor pool. Each cottage has a private patio area with a table, chairs & a bbq. The local pub is a 2 minute walk through a gate at the bottom of the garden. Great location within easy driving distance of Dorchester & tourist attractions. We would definitely recommend Gamekeeper's Cottage & would go back again.

Negative: The staircase is narrow & quite steep, so would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Positive: The owners have really made an effort to make the cottage as cosy and welcoming as possible. They are on site and available without being intrusive. Everything was quality and tasteful - excellent night's sleep. We were snug even in a cold, wet March (lots of details like warm throws) without using the wood burning stove; it would have been very toasty warm if we had. Gardens are beautifully kept with flowers, trees and wildlife to admire from the kitchen window. Thoughtful touches like bread, milk and butter when we arrived.

Positive: The host, Adele, was absolutely wonderful. Her cottages were immaculately cared for- from the beds, to the kitchen and the beautiful grounds. My girls loved the playground and gardens! Can't wait to return and take advantage of the pool!
