Positive: Location of Nook Cottage was great. Off the beaten path but close enough to places of interest made it perfect for our stay. Our lovely host Brynne was fast to respond to any questions about the area. Brynne loaned us a large pot to cook chili in when I decided to eat in on some of our nights. WE were within walking distance of some beautiful trails and the Village of Wark was adorable.

Negative: There was no clothes dryer, but that is quite typical in all of the cottages in the area.

Summary: Great location and wonderful cottage for a couple traveling to the area of Northumberland .

Positive: Beautiful cottage. Very comfortable and cosy. Excellent sleep and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. John and Brynne have been very thoughtful about guidance and suggestions for visitors which was really helpful and easy to follow.

Positive: The high quality of the cottage and all it's fixtures and fittings. The quietness. The plants and flowers.

Negative: Lack of sun light and general light due to all the surrounding trees. And one huge tree which caused most of the problem. The trees stopped any sun shining on the back terrace. Nearly all day.
