Summary: Hosts Bruce & Sally were very friendly & knowledgeable about the surrounding area, which was a great help. We enjoyed our stay and have rarely found anywhere as peaceful. Yet the village is only half a mile away with pubs, restaurants and shop.

Summary: Great and helpful owners. The cottage is in a great, quiet and dark skies location. Good food in the pubs and very good local walks. Look out for the sand martins nesting bank on the river!

Summary: Lovely cottage in such a beautiful part of the country close to the beautiful Kielder forest and lake and Hadrian's Wall.
