Positive: Great cottage in a fabulous location. Very cosy downstairs complete with big sofa in front of a log burner ideal for snuggling up on a winters night. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Spacious and comfortable double bedroom upstairs - hot water bottles warming the bed on arrival! Good size bathroom too. Loved the 'dark box' provided with equipment to allow us to watch the skies in the clear nights. Delicious bottle of home pressed apple juice provided on arrival and our very caring host waited up one night until we got back to provide candles and lanterns in the middle of an unexpected power cut in the area. Had a great relaxing time! Thanks for a lovely stay!
Negative: Lack of a stand up shower to start with but we knew that when we booked and soon got used to lovely hot baths!
