Positive: The location was outstanding, best part of Palolem. The facilities were fantastic, everything you need ir available on request. Staff were superb, they could not do enough for you. So polite, easy to talk to and welcoming. Loved the bar area, kept clean and tidy continuously by the staff. The sand floor was also a great touch for a holiday feel.

Negative: Unfortunately we had not been aware we were above the bar and was a little noisy for us, but we did sort of get used to it.!! Would book different hut next time. On room cleaning we did think some extra effort could have been put in, sheets were changed as were towels on request, however bathroom area and general cleaning in rooms could have been better. Other than this we have had a fab time.

Negative: The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything and the neighbouring hotels blast music and fireworks every night until 1/2am.

Positive: This was our first visit to Goa, and Palolem beach, and I feel like we found the best place on the beach to suit our needs. We are a family of 4 so it's not always easy to find a suitable room (without booking 2 bungalows) but the Nest has a family room in the garden with a big dbl bed and 2 single beds for our 13 and 14 yr old sons. The bunglaows are set out in a beautiful peaceful garden in a row eaither side of a path leading to the beach. Access to the beach is down about 8 steps as the restaurant has a bbeach wall to protect during the monsoon. The location on the beach is perfect, along to the quieter end near Ourem Rd area, and this end of the beach is better for spectacular sunsets over Palolem island. The 'complex' is set out very well..the restaurant has a sand floor and overlooks the beach, the bar is great and has a good cocktail list (and they are nice cocktails!), the kitchen is great, serving a good selection of Indian/Goan staple dishes (inc Tandoori cooking) and also great OM-lettes, pasta toasties and sandwiches. The road behind The Nest is a cool little area, village like, with restaurants, a few bars, jewellers, barbers, a specialist Royal Enfield garage, a Tattoo parlour abnd various shops inc a chemist and off licence, so you really can find everything you need within a few hundred metres, without going along to the centre of Palolem (ps -it only costs 150 Rupees to get a tuk-tuk along to the Junction). Lastly, Mohan and his team are very friendly and helpful, I mean just really good mannered and polite and seemed pretty happy with what they were doing. Thanks a lot all you guys! You made our short stay very special. We will be back!!! PS - we stayed 2 nights, then went back for 4 more!

Negative: Mmmm...difficult to criticise anything really, but maybe just a few more shelves and surfaces in our room to put all our holiday items on (creams etc). Maybe more hooks ..that kind of thing. Room was great though. Simple, clean and spacious for 4.
