2 Bedroom Apartment in Bude, Marhamchurch

The Hideaway is tucked in next to the Cornish Countryside, there is a small private garden that is fenced off and safe for dogs with a lovely outside seating area and two sunbeds. Inside you will find a warm conservatory perfect on those sunny Autumn and Winter days, a comfortable living room with a large corner sofa and smart T.V. There are 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom consisting of a super king bed and large double Wardrobe and a smaller room containing two double single beds that can be used as singles or zipped together to make a double. This room also has a smart t.v. and chest of draws. There is a modern kitchen with an American fridge/freezer, the range cooker has one and a half ovens and the dinning table seats 4. There is a small bathroom with a shower.
We also have the optional extra of a hot tub, located in the garden, under a canopy for use in all weathers.
You can hire the hot tub for an additional fee of £100 for the first 1 - 2 days use and £15 per day there after.
The high cost for the first use covers the cost of a water change and electric used to heat the fresh water (by law we have to change the water for each new group to use the hot tub), there after you are just paying for the electric that will be used. Because we have to change the water for each group there will be NO reductions in the cost.
Dogs are welcome with a £25 fee up to 3 dogs. Pet addendum rules to be followed.
The local village encompasses a small shop where you can purchase your necessities, and an old fashioned country pub that serves lunch time and evening meals. A children's play area is 2 minute walk from the house and there are many beautiful walks in the area.
The village of Marhamchurch is less then 10 miles to the popular town of Bude, easily reachable with a 6 minute car journey or a pleasant walk along the Bude canal.
Bude has lots to offer from its restaurants and shop's to the lovely Summerleaze and Crocklets Beach, nearby there are plenty more beaches on offer such as Widemouth Bay and Northcott Mouth.
If you wish to explore more of Cornwall then an hour or two in the car can get you to Tintagel, Boscastle, Bideford, Newque, Clovelly and Padstow, as well as many other places. The Eden Project is also just over an hour away.

Summary: Lovely property it has everything you need to have a relaxing break and includes all the necessitys you would need. Lovely host , great communication and leave's milk ,tea, coffee, sugar and cakes so you can enjoy a cuppa and cake on arrival. A* would recommend

Summary: The Hideaway is so peaceful and relaxing in the quiet village of Marhamchurch.We were so pleased with everything it had to offer a great fully equipped kitchen a relaxing living room with a large smart tv and 2 bedrooms we only used one which had a bed so big you could get lost in it.The garden is so quiet and the hot tub just stops it all off.Bude is only a 5 minute drive away and a lovely place to visit with other places of interest not far away. The hosts Claire and Lee are wonderful anything you need nothing is too much trouble but also one thing which pleased us they just leave you to get on with you’re holiday Thank you so much for such a relaxing time we’ll definitely be back

Summary: Absolutely fabulous stay! Claire was a fantastic host. A great location for a range of different walks. Bude is about a 50 minute walk down the canal. Widemouth Bay is around 45 minutes walk if you walk up past the Weir restaurant. The weir is a great place to eat.

Summary: Property is in a great location to explore cornwall. Hot tub available for use, dog friendly and owners close by and contactable if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Pub close by for drinks and food. Bude only a short car journey away or by walking down the cannal path. The garden is secure, so perfect for dogs and children.

Summary: The cottage is lovely. It is situated in a village not far from the A39 which makes visiting other places in Cornwall easy. The village has a lovely pub within easy walking distance. The accommodation is very comfortable, the shower in the bathroom was good and the Hot tub area secluded and private. Brilliant few days away.
