Enjoy this traditional, cosy stone one-bed barn conversion located in a quiet hamlet, surrounded by beautiful countryside, only nine miles from the seaside resort of Bude.
It's the perfect location for exploring unspoilt north Cornwall & Devon, with beaches and the south-west coast path within easy reach; you need a car to get around. Soak in the peace and quiet of the Barn with its home comforts, and enjoy the luxurious king size bed. During the colder months the heating is kept on all day.
Make the most of your break using our customised information on local walks, and places to visit. The photos give an idea of the places you can visit within an hour's drive.
Please note that the Barn is not suitable for babies, infants or children.

Although we’re no longer a working farm you can often see a local farmer’s attractive Stabiliser cattle grazing in our organic field, and we keep 4 chickens. Depending on the time of year you might see geese or ducks rearing their young on our wildlife pond, long-eared bats catching insects at dusk, or our resident hedgehog late at night. We provide a bird guide to help you identify birds on the birdfeeders, including the Great Spotted Woodpecker, goldfinch, tits and chaffinches. Our black and white rescue cat, Bubble, keeps a watchful eye over the whole farm.
We welcome one well-behaved, adult, dog. There's a lovely private sunny seating area in front of the Barn; we ask dog owners to keep their dog on a lead because the area isn't fully enclosed. The area is very dog friendly, and you may find shopkeepers offering your pet a treat with every visit! Most pubs and restaurants welcome dogs and nearby Sandymouth beach allows dogs all year round.
We have one other holiday apartment for couples in our courtyard, which is entirely separate from the Barn. The rest of our courtyard is used for storage.
We love welcoming guests from all areas of the UK and the world, with the aim that that they return home with everlasting memories of their stay here.

Summary: East Woolley Barn is cosy and peaceful, perfectly located to explore North Devon and North Cornwall. The Barn has everything you would need and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of things to do and see. The Barn was spotlessly clean and well heated making for a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

Summary: Our stay at the barn for couples in Bude could not have been more delightful. It is in a quiet location but very close to the spectacular coastal sights and the coastal path in North Cornwall and North Devon. There are also several walking loops right from the residence around the nearby countryside. It is an excellent spot for birdwatching and relaxing. It is also within a 60-90 minute drive from Tintagel, Dartmoor National Park, and Exeter, in case you wish to venture further. But you will not run out of things to do nearby. Riki was a superb host, providing a wealth of information on nearby sites and communicating promptly. The barn cottage is immaculate and well-appointed. I cannot think of anything I would change about the facility or its environment. We would stay there again at the first opportunity and will recommend it to friends.

Summary: Communication was excellent with Riki and we were made to feel welcome from the start. Upon arrival, Riki greeted us and showed us around the barn where to find everything. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. We had a lovely welcome pack including biscuits, local honey, organic apple juice and milk. All were good quality products. The barn is next to the farm house, however you do have privacy and a lovely seating area outside. There are also extra garden chairs available. The bed is super comfy and we slept very well every night. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower. It was a great base to explore other areas with Bude beach approximately 20 minutes away. There is lots of information for local and beyond areas. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

Summary: There is a reason why I keep coming back to Cosy barn I simply love everything about it. I honestly can’t fault it . Location is perfect the barn itself is spotlessly clean , comfortable and as the title says cosy. Riki and her husband are great hosts . Look forward to returning here next year .

Summary: From the moment we checked in, Riki was great, so helpful and welcomed us like she had know us for years, we felt at home. The barn was beautiful, clean, really large, the most comfortable bed!!! Everything we needed was there. The welcome pack was great, milk, eggs, bread and cookies. The barn was ideally placed for visiting the North of Cornwall and North Devon, we visited so many places in the 2wks we were there. I would highly recommend this barn to everyone, and hopefully we will return again.

Summary: Myself and my fiancé stayed here for our third anniversary for 7 days. Riki and Martin were brilliant hosts, gave us lots of info ahead of time about the check in process as well as places to visit and recommendations for restaurants. The property was very clean and well maintained, and the location was wonderful; just a short drive to the coast. Everything I wanted or needed to know was in a very handy booklet in the property, and if anything else was outstanding Riki and Martin were easily contactable for further info. Thank you very much for such a wonderful trip!
