Little Rowans is bright and spacious with everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable holiday.
Split over two floors with your own garden, decking area and parking space. Perfect for couples wanting to relax or here to enjoy the outdoors life.
Located in the picturesque village of Poughill on the edge of Bude, with an excellent pub at walking distance serving great food and local ales.
The lounge, kitchen and dining area are all open plan, with bi fold doors opening onto the garden, bringing the outdoors in. There's a SMART TV and Wifi is free to all guests. Underfloor heating throughout the downstairs.
The kitchen is well equipped with all modern appliances including a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine/tumble dryer.
Upstairs you'll find a large sun flooded ensuite bedroom with a super king size bed, seating area and Juliette balcony, looking out on to open fields. Downstairs there is a large shower room, just perfect for when you come off the beach.
Staying in winter, there's a log burning stove, and underfloor heating for those cosy nights in.
Outside you have your own private garden to relax with tables and chairs and sunloungers.
Parking is at the front of the property on a gravel driveway. We now have a type 2 electric vehicle charging point, for charging overnight.
The beaches and town are only 5 minutes away by car, 10 minutes by bike and 15 minutes easy walking. Here is where you will find the town centre, shops and some great restaurants.
Public footpaths are everywhere taking you to the coast, so it’s a perfect base for walkers. Take a stroll along the canal, which has been our guests favourite walk or choose one of Bude's four main beaches. There are endless water sports and Little Rowans is an ideal base for exploring by foot, bike or car.

Summary: We stayed for 5 nights in May half term. The accommodation was very clean and exactly as advertised. There was a welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, milk, scones, jam, clotted cream, cheese and biscuits.Communication was excellent - the owners live next door.The accommodation is in a village just outside of Bude which is walkable in 25 minutes or there is a bus. Friendly pub up the road which serves good food. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment and there is a washing machine and iron if you need it.I would not hesitate staying here again.

Summary: We love Bude and now we’ve found the perfect place to stay too. Little Rowans is beautiful. It is spacious, luxurious and airy. Everything you could need indoors and the most lovely garden to relax in. We had a wonderful holiday, thank you Helen and Andy.

Summary: Little Rowans is a gem of a property in a great location. Everything, equipment wise, was at hand. The garden sun-spot was an added bonus! The property is a stone's throw from the welcoming local pub and a short car ride from several great beaches. The hosts, Helen and Andy were equally fabulous! We had an amazing stay.!

Summary: Myself and my partner stayed here for four nights and couldn't fault the property at all. Excellent location (5minute drive to main beaches and shops) and the furnishings we're all to a high standard. We ended up liking it so much we opted to stay in and cook most nights.

From the outset, the hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and welcoming stay. Prior to our arrival, they sent us a comprehensive "touchstay guide" that included detailed information about the property and a variety of activities and sights to enjoy in Bude. This guide was incredibly useful and added a personal touch to our experience. The property itself was spotless and well-maintained. On arrival, we were delighted to find a complimentary hamper filled with delicious Cornish treats, which was a thoughtful and generous gesture. The house was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hosts provided essentials such as milk, tea, and coffee, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and the attention to detail and hospitality from the hosts made it even more special. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!
