Positive: Pretty location overlooking the sea! Nice facilities in the room - lots of towels, tea and coffee - plus tea cakes! Our room was charming with a Highland cow theme - adorable😊 Tasty food in the bar - lovely atmosphere too.

Positive: Although above a busy pub, there was no noise in the room. The room was spacious for me and my dog. Parking on the street made it very easy to offload luggage and the dog. Very friendly, helpful staff and super dog friendly. Towels are waiting at the door to dry your dog after a lovely beach walk. Beach and woodland walks 200 m from the Harbour Inn. Excellent WiFi reception. Great value for price and nice breakfast included in price.

Negative: Everything was OK, I found the bed could have been more comfortable and the shower room dated. However, these are new owners and possibly haven't put their stamp on the place.

Positive: The room was lovely, with a harbour view and plenty of space. The en suite was nice too and the shower was good -plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have an easy chair too. I really liked having real coffee and a cafetière in the room and some nice snacks too. I ate in the pub the first evening and was impressed with the meal that I had, brought to me piping hot. The breakfasts were good. Everyone was very friendly.

Negative: I think the bar itself, on first arrival, looks a bit scruffy and down at heel. Also, I suppose for some people, two flights of stairs could be challenging with bags. It’s on street parking rather than a dedicated car park but there was plenty of space near the pub.

Summary: A great base for exploring the Moray coast and, for me, so convenient for the event I had gone to.
