Positive: The location is at Burghead harbour in a converted granary house, with views over the harbour and across the Moray Firth. There is a lookout up some steps on to the top of the hillside with further spectacular views. If you're lucky, you will see the seals and possibly dolphins! Harbour Haven is aptly named due to the peace and tranquility, aside from the occasional fishing boat chugging in and out of the harbour. On hot sunny days, families will enjoy jumping off the wall in to the cool sea. A dog owner's paradise for walks along the coastal paths, woods and beaches. The Hosts kept in touch and provided clear details for everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. There was a welcome basket, that even contained doggy treats and a dog bowl and mat also containing treats and toys!
Negative: There isn't much not to like! It's a relatively new let and is very comfortable although I felt that it could be made a little more cosy with a few more pictures on the walls and maybe a rug in the lounge area.

Positive: The location is stunning, right on the harbour. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Scott, the owner was very helpful and so friendly to deal with.

Positive: Fantastic position overlooking the harbour, where I could watch dolphins and the resident seal, along with fishing boats leaving the harbour every evening.
